Al Gore Gives Mini-Truth at VMAs

Al GoreThank god for Treehugger. I can’t believe we missed it. Al Gore did a mini-slide show a la An Inconvenient Truth at MTV’s VMAs last night. I watched, I really did. Red Carpet and everything. But then I got distracted by The Office during a commercial break and there was no turning back.

YouTube has offered me many opportunities to see Shakira’s performance, Jessica Simpson, and Justin Timberlake’s SexyBack (which was awesome, by the way)…all of which I DID see. Can someone please upload the Al Gore segment? I guess Al Gore still isn’t as sexy as JT.

Update, NY1 gives us a Gore VMA quote: “The environment was the number one response when you were asked what the biggest problem your generation will face. We can solve it but we must act quickly,” said former Vice President Al Gore.
