snipshot_1f7xxc2wpm.jpgWith what seems like miles upon miles of long, gas-guzzling limos piling up at award shows, it’s nice to see some alternatives creeping in. Jared Leto’s rock group, ’30 Seconds To Mars’, spread the guilt by showing up in a biodiesel-powered military vehicle. While it may not have gotten exceptional mileage, the fact that they were promoting the alternative fuel was a positive. From the article,

“The group used the ceremony to launch its upcoming tour, which also has an environmental feel.

Leto, who fronts the group, says, “We wanted to do something different when we turned up and also send a message out there that there are other ways to power your vehicles.”

Rock on.
