greenpeace_logo_.jpgIn honor of 35 years of proactively saving the environment, Eurythmics star Dave Stewart, rockers Good Charlotte and producer Glen Ballard are teaming up to record a song for the organization, Greenpeace. Details are light at the moment, but according to MTV, the track will be created on September 9th at Sir in Hollywood.

Anyone else curious to see how this will turn out? I mean, it’s a pretty cool group of rockers coming together to write the music and I’m hopeful it won’t be something that I turn off after 10 seconds. ‘Good Cause’ songs are little iffy—sometimes they can go skyward like ‘We Are The World’ or fizzle the snizzle like Michael Jackson’s Katrina song. A song about ‘eco-warriors’ though reads different. Let us know if you get a sneak listen at this one….
