Leonardo DiCaprioOne of the top gossip sites talks green today. TMZ spotted Leonardo DiCaprio at Hyde, getting in and out of his hybrid. TMZ writes:

…if you’re a Leo-fanatic, you surely would know that as an avowed environmentalist, DiCaprio only drives electric or hybrid vehicles. In other words, Toyotas and Hondas, not Mercedes or Ferraris.

But cars aren’t the only thing that create noxious fumes. When Leo dashed out of the nightclub Hyde, he took with him a girl in a white dress, who our cameras caught moments earlier puffing on a cigarette.

Leo won’t tolerate a smoking auto, but his standards are lower for blondes in short skirts. She may have been smoking, but she was also smokin’ hot.

The comments on the post vary from, “EVERYONE knows that the left side of Hollywood’s motto is ‘DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO’.” to “The honda hybrid is at least a lot better than the SUVs and hummers a lot of other so-called activist actors ride.” and “Unfortunately it seems that political grandstanding seemed to get in your way of looking at him sincerely. And who cares who he is dating?”

I do find it interesting, however, how many Hollywood actors smoke – regardless of their standpoint on the environment. Cigarettes are a huge form of litter. We’ve already caught a few eco-celebs tossing their butts on the ground.
