Scarlett JohanssonScarlett Johansson is InStyle’s October cover girl. Inside, she discusses her movie Black Dahlia, of course, but also her charity work.

She’s joined forces with Bono and (RED)…a topic we just can’t seem to avoid lately, not that we would want to. Scarlett is only 21 years old, but she had already associated herself with USA Harvest and Oxfam prior to this. She discusses her thoughts on the (RED) program, “It’s kind of conscious consumerism, charitable consumerism. I thought it was incredible.”

Now here comes the part that peaked the interest of A Socialite’s Life: Says Johansson,“I think certain people are guilty of it by supporting something when they haven’t done the proper research. You’re always going to have people who hop on the bandwagon when something is hip. The important thing to remember is that these women and children in Africa need our help – this has nothing to do with my career.”

Oops. Be careful, Scarlett…you just called a bunch of unnamed celebs POSERS.
