Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger in Brokeback MountainHave a clothes shopping addiction that is no good for the environment? You can feed your addiction and still be green – just buy used. That way, no new materials are being used, and you have cool new (to you) stuff.

And to get you started off, the Brokeback Mountain auction is up. The entire wardrobe from the movie is available. You can snatch up something worn by Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Williams, or Anne Hathaway and the proceeds from each sale will go to the Human Rights Campaign.

Also on the HRC site, you’ll find a link to the video below. It is a celeb-filled short made for National Coming Out Day, which was just last week on October 11. In it you’ll find Felicity Huffman, Janet Jackson, Steven Spielberg, and Ellen DeGeneres, among others, speaking out on the topic.

HRC: It’s a site worth your while, well updated and full of resources. What else are you waiting for, an invitation? Go shopping!
