Thom Yorke of Radiohead Singers, pop groups, and rock bands all want to take the world by storm, and touring around the world’s a dream for them, but for Thom Yorke of Radiohead, it’s actually one of the things he hates about his job. Okay, maybe “hate” is too strong a word, but he’s definitely not happy with how tours work.

He said: “The way that tours are structured now and the way it works is a ridiculous consumption of energy … I would consider refusing to tour on environmental grounds, if nothing started happening to change the way the touring operates.”

The British frontman is known for being pretty hard on himself when it comes to working for the environment, but hey, at least he’s passionate about a worthy cause.

If you’re mourning Sudan the rhino, go vegan

The world needs more vegans because more than dollars or pledges or sad-emoji riddled posts, our individual efforts can stop the demand for horns, for zoos, for animal flesh, and for the exploitation of any living being.

Criticize veganism, but don’t discredit it

Oppressive and harmful behaviour has no place in a movement rooted in anti-oppression.

Filing a case in the courts is a time-consuming and expensive affair and, sadly, doomed to fail because, by and large, the laws of the land reflect the views of the people.
