The OC: Going Green With New Wacked Out Hippy Character?

che.jpgThe OC is promoting a new character called ‘Che’ (Chris Pratt) for season 4 that appears to embody every stereotype about the Green Movement that some people are attempting to change. Alas, the entertainment of such a character cannot be ruled out. It appears that Summer (Rachel Bison) gets wrapped up in Che’s energy and at one point declares, “Solar panels on all of our dormitories or we revolt!” Or how about this classic line from Che, “Only thing not powered by the sun is the fuel of our passion!” Yikes. Let’s hope that there’s some actual substance behind this character that can communicate some green values without creating a mockery of the entire message.
