Comic Relief 2006The funny fundraiser, Comic Relief is set to arrive in Las Vegas on November 18, 2006. This year’s proceeds will go to victims of Hurricane Katrina and will help those families rebuild New Orleans. Comic Relief was started 20 years ago and it has raised almost $50 million. The funds have gone toward health care services for the homeless in the United States.

This year the original hosts are back: Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, & Robin Williams. The lineup also includes Roseanne Barr, Lewis Black, Susie Essman, George Lopez, Bill Maher, Ray Romano, and Rita Rudner.

Can’t get to Vegas? Doesn’t really matter as it seems that tickets are sold out. But it doesn’t matter! You can watch the show live on HBO or TBS on November 18 at 9pm ET.
