Crowe’s Movie is Smart…ForTwo

A Good YearI don’t know how we missed this. Linton tried to tell us 2 weeks ago, but we didn’t listen! Russell Crowe’s new movie, A Good Year (currently in theaters), features the Smart fortwo coupe.

The car is currently available in Canada, and I believe it’s planning a launch in the USA soon. Though I have to tell you, Consumer Reports recently took it out for a spin and recommended the Prius instead. But it is sooo cute. And you can park it just about anywhere.

    I read it will be available in the states in ’07 or ’08. the engine and exhaust system require special tweaking before it can be sold here. It will be available at 50-60 dealerships nationwide (I think GM, because its a Daimler Chrysler product–forive me if I ‘ve got teh facts a bit twisted). The US price is over $20k.
