Clooney Compliments Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt On Charity Efforts

snipshot_841eaqndx74a.jpgYes, it’s a bit of a circle jerk of love here, but insider compliments are always a nice way to interrupt our regular programing of PETA this, charity that, and Oprah interviews. The latest warm fuzzies to fall into orbit around Hollywood come from ‘da man’ George Clooney and his thoughts on the humanitarian efforts of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. From the interview,

“I couldn’t be prouder to be their friend. I think that they’re doing a phenomenal job. They’re really committed to bringing attention. They have a very smart theory, which is, if the cameras are going to follow them, they’re going to go where the cameras can do some good.”

Is Hollywood shifting? On top of a publicist, agent, and a myriad of other staff, is it now important to have a charity or humanitarian adviser? Should movie contracts include clauses for charity work? The plausibility of the idea is a little out there; but in many ways, you almost expect it these days. Why isn’t Carrot Top involved in more humanitarian campaigns?
