A Fan Fur-gets About Christina Ricci

I used to run a fansite for a pop group some years ago, which I eventually shut down because they weren’t releasing any new material anymore, plus I’d already outgrown them. Outgrowing a certain artist is probably one of the common reasons why people quit being fans, that and the possibility that the stuff they’re coming out with just sucks and that they’ve done horrible deeds.

In the case of Dodger, the owner of an old and established Christina Ricci website, he shut down his fansite because Christina is a big fan of fur. He states:

Well, that’s it. I’ve had this Christina Ricci fan page for almost 8 years (since januari 1999), but I recently found out Christina doesn’t appear to have a problem wearing fur. Well, I do. I also have a problem with people who wear fur. Conclusion: I have a problem with Christina. And now that problem is solved, because I don’t have a website about her anymore, so I no longer have anything to do with her.

Can’t really blame him for that. Christina, who made it to PETA’s Worst-Dressed list, as well as other fur-loving celebrities really should sit up and take notice, but apparently, all Christina said about this was “…this gentleman is entitled to his own opinion, and she applauds him for sticking by his beliefs”.
