Arnold To Push For More Funds To Keep California Green

A little thing like the holidays and some health issues shouldn’t keep a governor from doing his job. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to build up California’s green technology with the Governor’s Research and Innovation Initiative. The project will help develop new environmentally-sound technologies. The programs that will be included in the Initiative are The Helios Project, Energy Biosciences Institute, California Centers for Science and Innovation, and Petascale Supercomputer.

Arnold is aiming to direct $95 million of California’s budget to the initiative and we definitely hope it’ll be money well spent.
