snipshot_9417cdxem4u2.jpgOne day we’ll post a story that says ‘George Clooney Eats Puppies!’ Until that time, the saintly actor continues to set example after example for the rest of Hollywood. With the tractor beam of Christmas still strong, we’ve got stories pouring in on how celebrities spent their time off. For Clooney it meant having fun, avoiding the holidays, and giving to charity. From the article,

“He explains, ‘I went down south with a couple of my friends because we said, ‘We’re sick of Christmas.’ Nobody put on Christmas songs and we didn’t celebrate at all. It was nice. Good fun, I recommend it! We had no gifts.

‘We put up a website for all of our buddies and just said, ‘Everybody has everything they want, so what’s your favorite charity? We’ll donate to that.’ It’s a lot easier that way and then you don’t have to shop.'”

If someone could find that secret website, we’d be most grateful. Would love to see what charities were involved in the gift-giving. Clooney is currently starring in The Good German and has fans waiting for Ocean’s 13 next summer.
