Not too long ago, we reported that Pink was leading the fight against Australian wool, which got the Australian government a wee bit twitchy. Now we’re hearing that she’s backtracked on her statement against the product, stating that she didn’t do enough research. Happily, the wool industry didn’t hold it against her and had accepted her apology.

    Interesting. So was anything in her statements false? It seems that she is almost retracting the part that say Australia is one of the main culprits, but not that it is a problem. I’d love to hear more behind this story…

    I haven’t read any other more extensive articles on this yet, but it seemed to me that she may have just learned that mulesing is considered a necessary procedure. What I’d like to find out is how PETA reacted to her retraction. =D
