williamshatner.jpgNo kidding. Internet casino website Golden Palace actually shelled out $25,000 for the…item. The whole amount will go to a good cause, though.

“When I was contacted about selling my kidney stone to GoldenPalace.com for an original price of $15,000 I turned it down knowing that my tunics from Star Trek have commanded more than $100,000. I offered the stone, stint and string for $25,000 and informed them that 100% of the proceeds would go to benefit Habitat for Humanity and I retain visitation rights”.

Yep, he’s still got it. How many kidney stones would actually raise such an amount, I ask you?

    Have to love those guys at Goldenpalace.com. They have to be some of the more charitable folks out there and still get a decent run for their money for doing charity work. Larger corporations should take notice.
