That’s right. A song recorded by the rock icon in 1971, entitled “Woman In The Window,” will be used for the Global Cool campaign. A remake of the song has been done by musicians including New Order and Perry Farrell, formerly of Porno For Pyros. Incidentally, Farrell is releasing an album entitled Ultra Payloaded with his new band Satellite Party. The album will also serve as a fundraiser for Global Cool and Stop Global Warming and will feature tracks from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fergie of Black-Eyed Peas.
