Global warming IS a joke. Al Gore said it, and mindless sheep believed it. All Dennis Miller said is that he needed a little more proof before he runs around screaming “the end is near”. You “people of conscience” should demand a little proof too, before they raise our taxes for this witch hunt.

He also said he didn’t believe in the ozone hole since they couldn’t both be happening since the heat would just escape out the top. He said he changed his mind after the commercial break because the lights in the studio were hot. I don’t expect from my comedians environmental research just to be funny and he can’t even manage that. How many times has he recycled the comparing something to the Comet Hyakutake line?

I, for one, am happy to hear global warming being discussed on Leno, period. You know an issue has arrived in mainstream consciousness when it’s the subject of comedy routines on broadcast TV. I welcome all points of view, including Miller’s, and the funnier the better!
