Fashion shows usually glitter with the top names in fashion, the hottest models, and of course, Hollywood’s biggest stars. Pamela Anderson was recently invited by Welsh designer Julien MacDonald to appear at his show for London Fashion Week, which started on February 11 and will run until tomorrow. Julien even offered to make her a special outfit for the event, but Pam declined the outfit and the invite. The reason? Julien uses animal pelts in his designs. Pam replied to the invitation with:

“Dear Julian, unfortunately I won’t be in London for Fashion Week, but I truly appreciate the invitation to your show and your kind offer of creating an outfit for me. I’m hoping you can extend your kindness to include animals. If you stop using fur, I’d be thrilled to attend a show of yours in the future. Please watch my video about the fur trade on peta.org.uk.”

It’s great that Pam doesn’t stray from the anti-fur path. Well done! After being showered with flour during last year’s London Fashion Week and rejected by Pamela this year, let’s hope Julien will finally take a hint and forego the fur.

Veld donates money to farm animals and also serves them

Lest we be confused that their giant V logo stands for anything other than Veld.

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
