And we literally mean house warming. With Brad Pitt settling down in New Orleans with his family, EcoGreen Fire thought it would be a good idea to give him a gift for his new French Quarter home. The Australian product EcoSmartâ„¢ Fire is being distributed by the company, who believes the eco-friendly fireplace, which uses ethanol, is an ideal present for Brad.

“Now that he has a house in New Orleans,” says Mike Paine, co-owner of EcoGreen Fire, “we thought it would be a nice gesture. We have followed his work with Global Green, helping to rebuild the New Orleans area, and we think it’s great what he’s doing in the community.”

If the green fireplace is indeed safe and green, then EcoGreen Fire might want to consider introducing it to more people. I suppose Brad is a good first choice for them, though, since both he and the company are based in New Orleans.
