From April 13 to 15, business owners and citizens of the city of Saratoga Springs will be holding the first ever Saratoga Environmental Expo (SEE). The event hopes to educate the public about environmental issues and the benefits of green living. It will also highlight environmentally-friendly businesses, products and technologies. It aims to be a carbon-neutral event, so a wind energy company will be providing power for the expo.

Up to 120 vendors will present information on how visitors can conserve energy, build green, prevent pollution, farm organic and consume natural products.

Several big-name sponsors are being lined up, multiple car dealerships will bring their vehicles of the future and children will have an area to themselves to learn and play, said Bellino, expo co-chairwoman.

SEE can also expect some star power for its activities. The VIP dinner planned for April 13 at Brindisi’s will be attended by celebrities such as Daryl Hannah and Ed Begley, Jr..
