Why did Gore wait 4 years before trying to install solar panels? And why weren’t geothermal pumps and the water cistern installed sooner? There weren’t any regulations on them. Gore’s message is great…but it’s disappointing that he wasn’t following through on his end.

Typical liberal, consuming the resources of 20 normal homes (construction and energy) while he preaches conservation.

A true conservitive would be using much less than the typical home.

That’s fantastic that Mr. Gore influenced the City Planning Dept. to revise their zoning code.

HOWEVER, if he is driving a vehicle that is powered by petroleum (hybrids included) he is still totally out of touch with minimizing his carbon footprint. Now if he would only get on board and reduce his high caloric (energy) intake to his body…

Agreed, but nobody will be able to utilize such technology until April 1st. Up to this point, the zoning laws considered solar energy to be generators; something that was required to be on the ground.
