Danny Glover Protests in Wisconsin

Danny Glover took to the streets this weekend with hundreds of protesters marching on the Wisconsin state capital. They were protesting the REAL ID which is set to go into affect in Wisconsin on April 1. From the South Central Federation of Labor site: “The new drivers’ license law, scheduled to go into effect April 1, implements federal requirements for REAL ID here in Wisconsin. As of April 1, everyone applying for (or renewing) a Wisconsin driver’s license must prove they are in the country legally, which may be difficult to do without a certified birth certificate or U.S. passport.”
The debate continues - we’ll have to see what happens April 1.
