Musicians Leigh and Chandra Watson (The Watson Twins) have just wrapped a modeling shoot for the new online fashion boutique, Green With Glamour. The identical, 6ft-tall twins recently cut a new EP called Southern Manners and were one of the highlight acts at the 2007 SXSW Music Festival. LA Weekly recently called their latest release a “elegant, dark, exquisitely melodic set of neotrad country tunes.” How’s that for praise?

The Watson Twin’s support of Green With Glamour comes at a time when we’re starting to see more sustainable fashion alternatives pop-up online. Having a variety of choices in the marketplace is a wonderful thing. The site’s motto is to “Go Green. Stay Stylish.” a very important reminder when attempting to sell eco-friendly garments and accessories. Owners Kathleen Rowan and Deana Bracken have add a personal touch to the site with recommendations on everything from cool shoes to table-top furnishings. As their blog states,

“Now that we’ve launched greenwithglamour.com, we shall continue to write entries in our diary – telling of our eco-minded travels and lifestyle finds. from organic foods & spirits to ”green” household & travel tips, we’ll chronicle all the goodies we discover along our collective paths – with photos, of course (after all, we’re visual gals).”
