I read the letter about Rachel Ray using organic produce on her show and no,I have never seen her use any. Because her cooking is for the masses not for a small portion of the population. But what really bothers me is when she grates lemon peel from a fresh lemon or orange into the food. Oranges are sprayed with an antifungal (imazalil)that is carcinogenic when ingested and a dye to make them more orange. It is sheer stupidity to use the peel, even the citrus growers advise you not to. With that many people cooking her recipes I shudder to think of how many people are eating carcinogenic dishes right now. Yum!!! I am sure most other cooking shows buy their citrus fruit at the supermarket and don't bother to use organic unspraged, undyed lemons either. The average everyday person is probably not aware of this. So who cares what kind of car she has when she's poisoning millions of people in several countries. RACHEL RAY IS NOT GREEN!!!!
