To justajusta: How do you know that those three will be performing? They haven't even been announced! Unless they are some of the surprise performers scheduled for the event.

I’m looking forward to this! With Al’s clout, me thinks the lineups are going to be awesome. And for the biggest cause that I can think of today other than Iraq. Here is a question and I am by no means dissing Al Gore. Why is it that Democrats who have held high office seem to do their best work AFTER they leave office. Think Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton among others. Good and Important work. Just a thought. And I do hope Al wins the Nobel for Peace. It would be appropriate.

I'm with you, Michael. Global warming is natural but humans are making it worse faster, and it's senseless to keep going at the same wasteful rate we are. I hate the fearmongering that comes with global warming warnings, save the polar bears pleas, peak oil and all that jazz, but hey, it's creating much more positive waves worldwide than fearmongering over terrorism and religions. If fear is what it takes to make humans wake up to its responsibilities, so be it.

Sorry, Kelly, but you're on the minority when it comes to believing that Global Warming is natural. Sure, the planet has gone up and down in temperature before, but human output of CO2 is causing these cyclical changes to happen much more rapidly than ever recorded. These rapid changes do not spell good news for those of us here.

I do agree with you though; regardless of which side you believe, the world will be a better place as a result of supporting positive developments in our environment. Cleaner air, cleaner water, and a more sustainable economy. For those who believe Global Warming is this giant hoax -- who cares if it is or not? The human race is not very intelligent when it comes to balancing our lives with the sustainability of Planet Earth. If we can rally together around this concept, create solutions to pollution and energy issues, and make the world a better place for ourselves and those who come after -- then bring it on. I'd rather support those issues under an umbrella of global warming than whine about if it's real or not.

Great idea, put environment issues on the front page! Oh , wait, they already are. And , just in case you hadn't heard, global warming is natural, and cyclical, not caused by human endeavors. But, if everyone can waste less, pollute less, it will help us all. Oh, and have fewer offspring.

Great Idea but stupid venue.... It onle allows for an x-number of people to attend and therfore... your not going to raise as much money as you would if for example you held in Philly again... Remember how many people showed up for that! think if everyone there was charged 10 bucks to "get in"... I can't even do the math its astronomical... so thanks for screwing over those who would go and show support but now won't be able too!!
