This Saturday (tomorrow!) break out your American spirit, hug some trees, dance through the streets and get ready to show the world that our country is serious about the environment. The campaign, Step It Up!, is set to descend across the nation with more than 1,300 rallies planned in all 50 states! The goal: To let our congress know that the American people are not happy with current policies. We want to see active carbon caps and reductions of 80% by 2050. Whether or not you believe this goal is realistic, the idea here is to get off our asses and take an active role in shaping future policy. With the press this event is getting, you can believe politicians will be listening.

You can also bet that Hollywood will be coming out in full force to support these events. Across the nation, we can expect celebrity sightings as the protests move forward. Will Martin Sheen get arrested? Will Kelly Osbourne show up confused thinking it’s some kind of exercise routine? Will Arnold Schwarzenegger deem the event sexy enough? Show up, get involved, and stay tuned to the ‘Razzi for more after-bash information!
