Taking the fight to help orphans in Africa to a new level, Madonna has revealed potential plans to buy the orphanage where she adopted baby David Banda. The superstar singer has been in the country of Malawi performing charity work with her daughter Lola. Speaking to people during her visit to the Home of Hope in the village of Mchinji, Madonna said, ‘I might take over the orphanage because the pastor here is getting old and is about to retire. If Malawians will work hand in hand with me I will still help Malawi.’

Starpulse also revealed that the singer is looking for a home to purchase in Malawi so that she can visit one month out of every year to help out and manage various charity functions. These works of charity are phenomenal and whether they’re coming from Angelina Jolie or other celebrities, the attention being paid to the causes by the media is most helpful.

You can visit the Home of Hope website for more information. Below is a small snippet from the site,

“The vision of Rev. Thompson Chipeta, a retired Presbyterian minister who himself grew up as an orphan, the Orphanage was established with the idea of the children living in “home groups”, each group of up to 25 children being cared for by a “mother”. The mothers are usually widows who are given accommodation, food and a very small allowance”
