show.jpgd’Estries, who? That’s right. Along with Al Gore and Daryl Hannah, I’ll be giving a presentation on “Positive Green News” this weekend at the Toronto Green Living Festival. Hot on the heels of last weekend’s Chicago Greenfest, Toronto will be holding a massive event with over 200 exhibitors covering everything from green building to transportation, fashion and beauty to eco-travel and beyond.

Besides the speakers listed above, Van Jones, Jaime Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., David Suzuki, and a host of other incredible individuals will all be sharing the Main Stage. There will be opportunities to test drive the latest green vehicles, explore what’s hot in sustainable fashion, reap the yummy benefits of a celebrity cook-off, and take a shot at winning a $25,000 eco home-renovation. Sweet.

For more information, check out the official website. I hope to see some of you there!

Why Vegetarianism Makes No Sense From A Moral Perspective

I don’t consider my years as a vegetarian as a stepping-stone or prerequisite to veganism

I hope I win the ‘Pig Farmers of Tomorrow’ contest I entered (I’m vegan)

I think I’ll likely have the most interest in pigs of anyone applying, anyway.

Hopefully Jon & Tracey Stewart use their new farm for vegan education

They’ve promised classes on caring for animals and sustainable agriculture, so vegan 101 would be a great place to start.
