Those of you who know Ed Begley Jr. from St. Elsewhere or have ever seen an episode of Living With Ed know that this guy has tirelessly championed the green movement for many years – everything from Begley’s Best to his promotion of ecofriendly products like the Toyota Prius and his fully electric RAV4.

This past Sunday, the New York Times published their own version of a typical Myspace survey with Ed Begley Jr., albeit their questions were a bit more mature! Here’s my favorite snippit from the survey:

Exercise routine: Every stationary bike in America is plugged into the wall the wrong way. They are using power! Mine does the reverse. I generate enough power from 15 minutes of biking to run my computer all day.

Check out Ed Begley Jr.’s survey and reinvigorate your green.

Why Vegetarianism Makes No Sense From A Moral Perspective

I don’t consider my years as a vegetarian as a stepping-stone or prerequisite to veganism

I hope I win the ‘Pig Farmers of Tomorrow’ contest I entered (I’m vegan)

I think I’ll likely have the most interest in pigs of anyone applying, anyway.

Hopefully Jon & Tracey Stewart use their new farm for vegan education

They’ve promised classes on caring for animals and sustainable agriculture, so vegan 101 would be a great place to start.
