So Roger Moore‘s been a PETA supporter for a while now. Recently, he spoke out against foie gras and even wrote a letter to the Members of Parliament encouraging them to ban the sale of foie gras in the UK. Part of his letter says,

Workers are often given financial rewards for not ‘bursting’ birds. Although the production of foie gras is prohibited in the UK, the sale of this cruel product is not. I have enclosed a DVD that I narrated for PETA Europe about the cruelty of foie production.

“I wholeheartedly support this campaign, and with your help I believe that we will soon see an end to this brutal and inherently cruel ‘delicacy’.

It’s quite nice how he quit eating foie gras when he learned how it’s made. Find out more about the campaign to ban the sale of foie gras here.
