Live Earth is a little over a month away and more and more details are becoming available. Something else that’s going to be available? More tickets to the New York concert. They go on sale Monday, June 4, at 10 am ET. Even better news? These are the cheap seats: $55 and $85. Buy them here.

The Police are being pegged as one of the main acts for the NY event. I just hope they have a better show than they did in Vancouver the other night. It was apparently a disaster show with many songs being a bit off beat, and with Sting jumping in the air like a “petulant pansy instead of the god of rock,” wrote drummer Stewart Copeland on his blog continuing, “And so it goes, for song after song.”

Live Earth also announced this week that Linkin Park will be headlining the Tokyo concert. They founded Music for Relief a couple of years ago to help tsunami victims. Since then, the organization has grown to tie in music with relief efforts around the world. They’ll be joined by Rihanna, Ai Otsuka, Cocco, Genki Rockets, Kumi Koda, Rip Slyme, and Rize. Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 9. Tickets are JY10,000, which is about $81 bucks.
