Heather Mills doesn’t waste a second—or a chance—to be in the limelight. The newly transformed vegan and estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney, turns cruelty-free Martha Stewart, sharing plant-based recipes and vegan-101 tips in “Converting Carnivores,” slated to debut at London’s The Incredible Veggie Shows on June 30.

Harking back to the devout vegetarian regime Linda McCartney followed years before her death, Mills also promotes a lifestyle free of animal byproducts to abate disease, curb global warming and abolish the violence animals incur in slaughterhouses.

What’s next for this Ms. Hills? A vegan fashion line, perhaps? A nice addition to her resume, but not if Stella can help it.

  1. It’s good to see Heather spreading the word about veganism and especially dairy.

Dr. Frank Oski, former director of pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University said, “There is no reason to drink cow’s milk at any time in your life. It was designed for calves, it was not designed for humans, and we should all stop drinking it today, this afternoon.”

Dr. Spock agreed, saying, “[T]here was a time when cow’s milk was considered very desirable. But research, along with clinical experience, has forced
doctors and nutritionists to rethink this recommendation.

The World Health Organization (WHO) says that western nations that consume a lot of meat/dairy have the highest levels of osteoporosis, which is caused by eating a lot of animal protein. It says, “…hip fracture rates are higher in developed countries where calcium intake is high than in developing countries where calcium intake is low…fracture risk has recently been shown to be a function of protein intake in North American women.”

Anyone concerned about osteoporosis should read the UN report here:

  2. I caught a tidbit on TV about Heather opening a fast food chain for vegans. I will be her biggest customer & the Meatard cults will be unhappy!More power to you, Heather!!!
