Has Tony Blair become inspired by Al Gore’s success in front of the camera? Well, not exactly. The soon-to-be-retired British Prime Minister has just finished his film debut in a climate change short film directed by Shekhar Kapur. In the movie, titled Global Cool, Blair plays a “carbon crusader”. Huh? Adding further to his incentive to act, his co-star in none other than beauty Sienna Miller. From the article,

“Blair said he has been preparing for the role for more than a decade and he felt great to be a part of the film. ‘I’ve been preparing for this role for the last ten years. So it was great to be part of Global Cool. But remember, I was only one of a billion people saving the planet in this movie – and they are all stars,’ Blair said.”

The film was premiered at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards ceremony at Yorkshire.  No word on whether or not this “crusader” got the girl in the end.

Lest we be confused that their giant V logo stands for anything other than Veld.

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
