With Live Earth approaching, we’re going to be one of the few sites on the web that provides day-long coverage of the event. Rather than simply reiterating everything we’re seeing on television, however, we really want to report on the green as seen from the eyes of fans and participants. In other words, we’re going to need you!

Are you going to Live Earth? Do you live in a Live Earth concert city? We want to cover the story inside and out! Be our eyes and ears during, before, and after the event. Tell us what it is like and what is going on!

And we’re not just looking for the U.S. to get involved. We want to leverage this wired world of connectivity and hear from London to Shanghai. Are you going to be in Rio? Will you be jamming in Johannesburg?

Let us know if you are interested in being part of our Live Earth Street Team. We want photos, emails, video, personal accounts…you name it, we want it! We’re working on ways that you can send us updates via your cell phone during the event. In the meantime, we’d like to start collecting the contact information of all of you Ecorazzi around the globe. Additionally, if you are an experienced journalist and would like to cover Live Earth for Ecorazzi in your global city, we’d like to know. Contact us now!

We’re ready to make July 7th a wild day and hope everyone attending the concerts has a blast. For those sticking around at home, tune in to Ecorazzi for the latest updates, or catch the event live on MSN, NBC, or XM Satellite Radio.

I wish I lived in LA. Sounds like it is going to be great fun.
