Al Gore has signed off the concert series and the mass exodus from Giant’s Stadium has begun. What a day. We talked to many celebrities, jammed to some awesome music, juggled press access to get deeper behind the scenes, and witnessed music history. Incredible. I’m personally looking forward to watching the other concerts online and seeing what affect the aftermath will have on the whole green movement. Of particular interest will be the “green audit” in the coming weeks that will reveal how well the concerts did at reducing their environmental impact. As far as we can tell, everything seemed to go off well without a hitch here in the U.S.; though we’re certain some good stories will come out of the woodwork in the days that follow.
While we’re going to keep throwing stories up as the evening drags on, I personally want to thank Tom Farley and Christine Petrozzo for their awesome contributions. We definitely could not have done it without you.
