tunstall.jpgLast weekend at Live Earth, singer KT Tunstall performed in a tee that said “Save The Future” — the official slogan of the Environmental Justice Foundation in the UK. The Save the Future tee was designed for EJF by Katharine Hamnett to help bring an end to forced child labour in cotton production and address the environmental destruction of the industry. All proceeds go back to the campaign — but don’t expect to buy your family a set. These 100% organic cotton, fairly traded tees are a tad bit expensive for £40. In US dollars, that’s about $55. Still, since the proceeds go directly back to the charity, consider it a donation with something you get to take home and show off.

Speaking of showing off, it looks like Al Gore has been smitten with the official Live Earth t-shirts designed by Aude owner Audrey McLoghlin. According to sources, the former V.P. ordered 30 more tees for his crew to enjoy. No word yet on whether Senator James Inhofe can expect one in the mail.
