Never there or not - they seem to take up a lot of energy to run, and maintain these places. I think if you are going to sound the alarm of pending global doom due to over consumption, maybe you should consume less. Otherwise don't bother. Maybe they know that there is really nothing that can be done to stop the coming demise and are enjoying every last second, by consuming as much as they possibly can. You know - Live for today.

The strangest thing is that the majority of successful actors and hollywood professionals live out of a suitcase 11 months out of the year, from hotel to motel anyway... They live on set... a bohemian life... So these are just real estate investment trophie homes, used by agents and managers to host industry functions. The stars themselves, are never there.

People ask me why I'm an AGW skeptic. I tell them that when the loudest and shrillest proponents have carbon footprints about 50 times bigger than mine, it's a little hard to take it seriously. When Laurie, Al, Leonardo and the rest of the mansion-dwelling doomscreamers start living like they talk, then I'll start listening.
