Model and actress Josie Maran is getting on the green cosmetics bandwagon by launching a line of eponymous organic products in September. According to The Perfume Bee, “the natural, toxin-free line, Josie Maran Cosmetics, aims to brighten complexions with wearable color without losing sight of the environment.” A Maybelline model for many years, Maran is no stranger to makeup. To ensure her products are environmentally friendly, Maran’s team screened everything through the Environmental Working Group, a company that has tested more than 20,000 products for toxins.

Josie Maran Cosmetics will be sold exclusively at Barney’s New York and San Francisco, as well as her website. In her own words, “Green is the new black, right.” Spoken like a true fashionista!
