Ann Curry of NBC News took a tour with Brad Pitt of the new green rebuilding project in New Orleans. The interview is one of two airing The Today Show today and tomorrow morning 7-10AM EST/PT on NBC. Here’s a great quote from the video:
>>ANN CURRY:
Why? Why do you care so much?
BRAD PITT:
Because it’s simple. It’s smart. It’s the way we have to be thinking. There’s a lot of problems in the world right now because of our dependency on oil.
This makes sense. This is the direction we should have been heading in a long time ago.
And so little steps like this– I’m proud of it because it helps create a dialogue. It brings more knowledge and puts in– puts these ideas into practice. There’s a lot of people doing it, and we’re happy to be a part of it.<<

The more I read about this guy the more I love him.
Can we say hypocrite??? Flying in gas gussling private planes all over the world.Give me a break…
Stop hating!!! Man look at this guy. He’s trying to help people in need. Let him be. He’s doing the right thing. Not to mention he has a beautiful family.
brad pitt and his brood are flyling gas gusling aircrafts every other day. they shouldn’t even be allowed to utter the word green. I have neighboors who take their kids to school on a bicycle everyday and they’re financially stable. their home is also solar powered. Now they’re what you call “green”!
