It’s Like Riding a Bike, Jessica Alba Forgot How

Jessica Alba appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman earlier this month, and had a pretty silly interview. In fact, I didn’t realize how open and silly that girl can be. She describes how she went eco with the rest of Amsterdam and rode a bike around…but that she either forgot how to ride a bike, or her “Amsterdam” state of mind made her forget.

Wow, biking is finally getting hip? It felt lonely to be the only biker in my group for many years.
Here in Boston, a notoriously bad city for biking (and where I worked as a bicycle messenger for 2 years out of college), our mayor Menino has discovered biking and has been singing its praises through real, actionable steps such as real bike lanes, new bike racks, and the hiring of a bike czar.
We have a long way to go to an Amsterdam-style bikers’ paradise, but it’s a start.
