From Greensbizwire, Dussault Apparel, Inc. unveiled a company wide initiative to become the world’s first carbon neutral clothing company and to raise environmental awareness about global warming with the creation of the Carbon Conscience program. Dussault Apparel selected Carbonfund.org as its offset partner for this initiative. After the company determines its carbon dioxide emissions footprint it will make donations to Carbonfund.org, completely offsetting its carbon footprint to zero. In addition, founder Jason Dussault has designed a t-shirt and unisex ring for the program, both will be available in late fall 2007, online and at select Dussault Apparel retailers.
This Thursday, November 8th, Dussault unveils its flagship location in Los Angeles, California, on fashionable Melrose Avenue; Guests to include Gene Simmons and Criss Angel.
