Panettiere’s Dolphin Fight Caught In Harsh Video

November 7th 2007

We’ve been covering Heores star Hayden Panettiere a lot this week; but wanted to share this video from the BBC of the star’s efforts to save the slaughter of thousands of dolphins in Japan. It’s a harsh, graphic look at what she’s fighting for — and the desperation of those on the other side that wish to avoid public attention.

  1. gutsy – hayden and the rest of them should get a lot of credit for trying to do something about this. good for her and thanks for bringing this out people’s attention.

  2. I had no idea. And I was moved to tears. What is the point of the slaughter? Are dolphins food there? I think that too often we forget that animals are emotional creatures who feel pain just like we do. Pain and fear. My heart goes out to those surfers who are so brave. Thank you for posting this.

  3. hayden panettiere and her friends are real heroes – may GOD bless them and put an end to this horrible misdeed! and shame, shame, shame – three times shame on japan! they lost their face in front of the world – these ruthless criminals – may they burn in hell!
