Sheryl Crow‘s latest single from her upcoming Detours album (drops February 5), “Love is Free”, focuses on New Orleans. “This is the most honest record I’ve ever made. It’s about being forced to wake up,” says Crow. “‘Love is Free’ is inspired by New Orleans. What struck me about it is the stoicism of the New Orleans people, they are spiritually based. You can see it in their eyes that they aren’t going to give up, they are going to rebuild.”

Check out the video below…it captures the spirit of the region.

Also on the Detours album is the track “Shine Over Babylon”, for which we previously gave our stamp of approval!
