With Discovery Channel’s new network Planet Green bowing sometime this summer, the race is on to develop as much content as possible to fill up 24 hours in a day. Is there enough out there to support a full network dedicated to green issues? Discovery thinks so — and to make sure they’re not lacking on ideas, they’ve decided to partner up with ten of the world’s leading non-profit environmental organizations and advocacy groups. Included in the list are Ashoka, Earth Pledge, Earthwatch Institute, Environmental Media Association (EMA), Global Green USA, Global Inheritance, National Wildlife Federation (NWF), Oceana, Ocean Conservancy and The Nature Conservancy.
