I don’t know who Marc Gilbert is but I take issue with his remarks about the Vectrix. He says he drove one. Well, there’s a huge difference between a test drive and owning one. I have been riding mine since last summer and it has been an absolute delight. Totally reliable, no major problems, just one minor software issue with the mileage meter that the company fixed immediately. As the first freeway-legal electric maxi-scooter, it is of course expensive as there are no economies of scale yet. I suppose Mr. Gilbert feels the Tesla is over-priced too. Some of us feel it is worth it to drive non-polluting vehicles. I’m getting $1500 back from CARB for buying a Vectrix and smiling as I pass gas stations, so maybe it is not so over-priced after all.

Vectrix: A over priced scooter that has nothing but software issues. Yes, DiCaprio drove one, so did I, but it’s un-realible and has major problems! Save your money!
