The Make It Right NOLA foundation has added a poster to their online store by renowned New Orleans artist Lionel Milton. The work was commissioned by the foundation to help raise money for the creation of 150 eco-friendly homes in the 9th Ward. From the description,

Born and raised in the lower 9th ward, Lionel was inspired by the Crescent City’s unique architecture he grew up around. The tilted Classic French Pink House in the foreground of the painting with the all too familiar silhouette of the New Orleans skyline illustrates a part of the spirit of the city. “Things are not always as they seem down here but we accept it anyway as long as we are home.”

You can help contribute to the organization by picking up a print of the artwork here.
