Both my dogs love it and neither had a tummy issue switching from Artemis. A rare and wonderful thing.

Petco carries the food and it’s the same price as average “organic/natural” brands.

I am a senior citizen with very limited funds and would like to try Halo for my Yorkie Sophie. Do any of the pet food stores carry Halo. I am a long way from a whole foods store. Also what is the cost of the food.

I think Ellen selling dog food is ridiculous. She says in her advertisment at the pet store-”I wish I were a dog.” ya that is so dumb considering what she did to Iggy and the shelter where she got him from. She has a lot of nerve. She broke the rules and that is that she doesn’t deserve special treatment. The women who took Iggy back did not deserve to be ridiculed and threatened either by Ellen.

Ellen is most def NOT vegan…unless it’s a very new thing. In fact, she even has a feature on her website called “What’s For Lunch” where she shows pictures and discusses her meals. She eats all meat, but again, from organic, grass fed and “better” treated cattle. Which if you’re gonna eat meat is the way to do it.

Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly vegan; I cannot verify that.

However, as a long-time ethical vegan, I’d be interested in nutritionally-balanced companion animal foods that are vegan AND whose marketing refers to our nonhuman companions in personal terms (she, he) rather than impersonally as it.
