While the Ecorazzi team may not agree with the size of Davd Beckham’s global footprint, we sure are supportive of his “UNICEF Ambassador” title and the work he does for charity. And today David Beckham continued that work by spending some time visitng young leukemia patients at Xinhua hospital in Shanghai, China.

It seems that the trip was a success, despite the fact that “one woman screamed hysterically as angry police refused to allow her inside, as organizers were soon forced to cancel a donation ceremony scheduled to take place outside the hospital.”

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to Xinhua hospital and had that exact same experience. David, I can totally relate!
