Humor us while we actually write about this.

Rumors are swirling over where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will nest for their next child. Last week, a chateau in France was the rumored destination. Then, there was speculation that Pitt wanted the child to be born in New Orleans — you know, where he’ll be running for Mayor and all. Now, the world is reporting that a Texas Ranch is “most definitely” the decided drop point for their second biological child. From the article,

“The famous celebrity couple plus their four children have relocated to a 270 acre ranch near the rural town of Smallsville while Brad is filming his latest movie – The Tree of Life. According to an insider ‘Brad and Angelina love the South. They weren’t expecting to move to Texas for filming, but Angie is all for trying something new. If she could take on Iraq, a little town in Texas should be a piece of cake!'”

That “insider” has a wonderful way with words.

Of course, we love the idea of the Pitt-Jolies getting back in touch with nature and enjoying a little respite from prying eyes. And while we would like to believe that they would reside in the same town as Clark Kent, the real town in not ‘Smallville’ as the quoted, but actually ‘Smithville’. Super.

The outcry should go further than importation and should be directed at the fact that the animals in question were on their way to slaughter in the first place.

Wicked Good Opportunity
